We do not guarantee specific tax outcomes, including refunds or tax liabilities.

2. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide complete and accurate information
• Submit all required tax documents (W-2, 1099, etc.)
• Review your return before filing
• Respond promptly to requests for additional information

You are responsible for the accuracy of your tax return, even if prepared by us.

3. Fees and Payments

• Fees are agreed upon before work begins
• Payment is required before filing (unless otherwise agreed)
• Fees are non-refundable once the return is prepared or filed

4. E-Filing and Delivery

• Returns will be e-filed where eligible
• Some returns (e.g., amended returns, certain international filings) may require mailing
• You will receive a PDF copy of the filed return

We are not responsible for delays caused by the IRS or state authorities.

5. No Legal or Financial Advice

Services provided are for tax preparation purposes only and do not constitute legal, financial, or investment advice.

6. Limitation of Liability

Tax Lighthouse is not liable for:

• Penalties or interest due to incorrect or incomplete client information
• Delays in refunds or processing by tax authorities
• Actions taken by tax authorities

Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the service.

7. Confidentiality

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, electronic communication (email, file sharing) may not be fully secure.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services at any time if:

• Required information is not provided
• There is suspected fraud or misrepresentation
